Our latest website www.redditchhaleandhearties.org.uk ,which has been developed for a coronary support group in the West Midlands, conforms to the latest quality asurance standards; it was checked and found to be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the CSS style sheet embedded in the (X)HTML document was also validated.
SMIS is constantly striving to improve the technical aspects of its websites and is working with the latest technology standards to provide easily read web pages which are transportable across different resolutions and browsers.

Update on Google Checkout
Just a quick update to say that google checkout is successfully working with our oscommerce shop www.intekx.com and a number of customers have already ordered using this fast checkout.
We have also installed Paypal account pro on www.ourpetshop.co.uk which has gone live this week. This site is another oscommerce shop.

Google Checkout
One of the latest innovations for Google is Google Checkout, where people can enter their personal details once and can then buy from enabled shops with no further data entry.
SMIS develops ecommerce shops in Cubecart and Oscommerce.
We will be upgrading www.intekx.com, an oscommerce shop, this week with Google Checkout. We will be using a plugin gateway to ensure that this shop can take Google customers.
Cubecart is completing a major version release, which will include both Google checkout and Paypal Express enabled.
The benefits for merchants to use this gateway is that there is nil commission fee on sales transactions to the end of the year. Let us know if you would like to be "Google enabled".
